Outline of Final Research Achievements

The principle investigator succeeded in creating large database system that contain clinical data of prehospital information (including geospatial information), emergency room, and intensive care unit. We succeeded in creating free software that can merge above information with administrative claim data.

本件成果であるソフトウェアは、フリーソフトとして、公開している。これを使用することで、簡単にかつ安全にDPCデータに加えて、病院前情報や検査結果情報等を統合したデータを連結できれば、世界にも類をみない、「重症救急疾患big data」のデータベースの構築が可能となる。これらのデータを多施設に渡って収集・解析し、結果を医療現場に有機的に還元することで、最終的には重症救急疾患患者の予後の改善に結びつくことが期待出来る。
