Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We aimed to induce odontogenic cells from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) by gene transfection. To induce dental epithelial-like cells, we first generated iPS cell-derived epithelial cells. Next, we transfected essential factor of odontogenesis into iPS cell-derived neural crest like cells. Transfection efficiency was evaluated using flow cytometry.
