Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は,電弱真空の不安定性と、Primordial Black Hole (PBH)の研究に集中した。

i) 本年度も引き続き,我々の電弱真空が準安定だった場合における宇宙論との整合性について議論した.従来の研究では,inflation scaleが電弱真空が不安定になるscaleよりも大きい時の問題が主に議論されてきた.しかし,inflatonとHiggsの結合を一般には禁止することはできないため,inflation scaleが低くとも,この結合によって電弱真空の崩壊が誘発される可能性がある.これについて,inflation中のみならず,その後のpreheatingにおいても議論した.また,近年,蒸発している軽いBlack Holeがあると,BHが触媒となって電弱真空の崩壊が大幅に促進される可能性が指摘された.この議論について再考した.決定的な結論を出すことはできなかったが,先行研究に入っていない効果を明確にした.この効果によって,崩壊率は先行研究の見積もりと比較して大幅に抑制されるであろうことを指摘した.

ii) Primordial Black Holeをつくるためには,標準でない宇宙史が要求される.すなわち,原始揺らぎが大幅に大きくなければならない.しかし,そのような大きな原始揺らぎは観測によってすでに制限され始めている.将来的に,どういった場合にこの制限を逃れることができるのかをはっきりさせておくのは意味がある.curvatonのように,非ガウス性が大きくなる模型だと,PBH生成に影響を与える原始揺らぎのtailをenhanceすることができる.この場合,原始揺らぎのPBH生成と無関係な部分を抑制できるため,それに付随した,宇宙背景放射に対する影響や誘導される重力波の生成を多少抑制できる.この可能性を指摘し,明示的な模型を与えた.
