Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We studied stress mitigation action by stimulating widely known acupuncture points to obtain basic knowledge for experimental animals. As a result, it was found that the activity of the nervous system, which is considered to be involved in the autonomic nervous system and emotion in the brain, is affected by adding tactile stimulation to acupuncture points under stress conditions. Tactile stimulation to acupuncture points may have various influences under stress condition.
