Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research is considered evaluation of Feng shui thought and reconstruction of traditonal landscape in modern Korean society. In Korea, Feng shui thought still regarded as trivial superstition, but in terms of the environment, traditional culture, folk culture, it is receiving positive evaluation. In East Asia, only Korean scholars are consistently doing academic research on Feng Shui. And a side story article using many feng shui terms appears in newspapers in Korea. On the other hand, in the national environmental policy, the concept of feng shui is indirectly used.
