Outline of Final Research Achievements

The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) has important roles, such as protein synthesis, redox regulation, and calcium concentration regulation. It is known that abnormalities of these regulation occur ER stress response. In this study, we developed a new ER stress biosensor which can visualize ER stress response. By using biosensor prepared in the future, it is expected to study analysis of novel ER stress signal mechanism which has not been clarified so far.
