Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Diabetes Mellitus is one of relative contraindications in implant treatment, but in many cases, if blood glucose level is controlled, surgery is performed. However, it is unknown whether the osseointegration has actually been acquired. In this study, we investigate surrounding bone of the implants in the model rat in a state of taking the drug for treating diabetes, and evaluate whether osteogenesis is actually carried out by taking medication for treating diabetes.
