| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The results of this study are divided into three points. (A) the issue of same-sex marriage and same-sex partnership has the potential to suppress the situation of the minority who is not homosexual and who does not form a couple; (B) the concept of "new homonormativity" used in the field of queer theory is applicable to the issue of same-sex marriage, but the current situation of same-sex couples in Japan is not completely consistent with the concept; and (C) the imbalance between sexual minorities can be read from the perspective of "Family".

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究においては、同性婚や同性カップルのパートナーシップの問題が、カップルを形成する同性愛者以外のセクシュアルマイノリティのおかれた状況をかえって抑圧する可能性を明らかにした。
また、COVID-19の流行という予想外のできごとにより、セクシュアルマイノリティの間の不均衡が「家族」という観点から読み解けることが明らかになった。その意味で、同性婚をめぐる問題は、セクシュアルマイノリティに関する／の中の不平等の問題全般に直接的に連関するものである。この点は、セクシュアルマイノリティへの差別を減じる社会的施策に対して、一定のインプリケーションを与えるものと考えられる。
