Research Abstract |
In this research project, to meet users required information service in rapidly changing environment, community architecture has been proposed. Each user autonomously and dynamically forms a local community with other users based on their physical locations, time and the kind of service to be provided. Based on this concept and architecture, community communication and information process technologies are proposed. 1. In the decentralized environment, the requested service, function and information of each community member are changing dynamically. The concept of autonomous decentralized system is that even if some subsystems may be failed or repaired, the operation of whole system can be assured. Based on this concept, data-oriented system architecture is proposed. In the system, the cooperation and high-assurance communication and information process can be implemented by gradually sharing the function and information with other subsystems. 2. In the community system, the communication

area is autonomously determined according to the requested service level. The user sends a service request to search a service provider, and then the request is gradually broadcasted in the network. When a service provider receives a request message, it broadcasts the reply message in request area. The speed of reply message is faster than request message. As a result, the reply message can catch the request message, and the community service area can be dynamically constructed based on the heterogeneous request levels. 3. The community service area, in which the service information is distributed and shared, can be dynamically reconstructed according to the changing conditions of service provider and users distribution. Even if some community members may be failed, the service information can be continuously distributed in the certain area by the autonomous coordination technology. To guarantee the quality of service and its assurance, each member autonomously adjust its process load by cooperating with other members. The autonomous decentralized community system platform has been implemented. Based on this platform, the join experiments were performed through the Internet. As a result, the effectiveness of proposed architecture and technologies is proved, and the objective of the research project is achieved. Less
