Research Abstract

Phenomena of the transformation of ethnic sport to tourism are recognized in many places in Fast Asia. Economic development must be regarded as the main factor of the phenomena, but in the case of ethnic sport of minorities the motives of self-reservation of their own ethnic traditional cultures can not be ignored. In addition, we must pay attention to the active promotive interference of the governmental authorities to the phenomena of which the best example can be found in China after the economic opening policy of 1990s.
