Research Abstract |
Apart from workshops and meetings at home, as our major research activities, we conducted research tour abroad each year. First year, individually (Russia, China, Kirgizia et al.), Second year, all the investigators collectively visited Harbin, Suifunhe (China), Glodekovo, Usrisk and Vladivostok (Russian) to investigate the current situation of regional economic development and related cross border trade. Third year, all the investigators jointly visited Harbin, Suifunhe and Tonnig, Funchun and Dalian to reinvestigate more closely the developments of border trade and related social economic developments in the near border regions in the China's side. Our research tours included meetings and interviews with administrative leaders and managements in the regions. These research activities became productive thanks to the kind and open minded cooperation with our academic research works. Research results and finding were reflected in our articles and reports in the prited form, listed below with great acknowledgements.
