1. Data collection and research of historical materials 2004: "Tsuyama-city local museum", Tsuyama-city, Okayama Prefecture, "Hirosaki City Library", Hirosaki-city, Aomori Prefecture, "The Wakayama Prefectural Archives", Wakayama-city, Wakayama Prefecture. 2005: "The Ibaraki Prefectural Historical Museum", Mito-city, Ibaraki Prefecture, "The Okayama Prefectural Archive", Okayama-city Okayama Prefecture, "Allamamatsu City Library" and "A Hamamatsu City History Museum", Hamamatsu-city, Shizuoka Prefecture. 2006:,"The Yamanashi Prefectural Museum", Isawa-city, Yamanashi Prefecture. Research contents : I researched many manuscripts in every museum, especially about economic information. For instance, it is prices of commodities, the price of rice and mintage. And it's information was controlled by official (MACHI YAKUNIN and so on). 2. Yatsu family documents and research findings I conducted documentary research on "YATSU family documents" in Hachioji-city and I made a catalogue. These data included a lot of historical materials such as official diary and lawsuit documents. Through this research, I found that (1) the trend of market decided the price of rice, and (2) it was the result of multilevel and accumulated "economic information" over a period of many years. Since the research is not completed, I would like to continue this research and obtain the better understanding of the meaning of "economic information" in Japanese early-modern society.
