| Research Abstract |
In this research project I have analyzed Bertrand oligopoly with product differentiation and Cournot with or without product differentiation from static as well as dynamic points of view. The results of my research have appeared in the following published or unpublished papers.

nd Cournot duopoly equilibria is investigated. In 2,the global stability of Cournot oligopoly equilibrium under product differentiation is proven taking into account a non-negativity condition for the firm's output in the adjustment process. In 3,the effects of changes in demand function are clarified for Cournot oligopoly without product differentiation. In 4,the global stability of Betrand equilibrium is analyzed for two price adjustments system-one simultaneous, the other sequential. It is shown that the stability is ensured for the both systems under the same conditions. In 5,the effects of entry in Bertrand oligopoly are analyzed adapting the Debreu and Scarf method of proof of the equivalence of the core and perfect competitive equilibrium in the limit state of pure exchange model. In 6,the neutrality theorem is proved on aggregate public bad in a generalized model of Shibata. It proves also the neutrality theorem on the equilibrium industry output in Cournot oligopoly without product differentiation and on the voluntary supply of aggregate public good. Less
