Research Abstract |
We thought primary school and Junior high school teacher dislikes science is related to one of the factors that the child dislikes science. So, we decided the purpose of the research that the class of higher education is improved, and teacher's scientific ability is improved. Basic Ability is necessary to improvement Scientific Ability. Basic Ability is to planning, monitoring, thinking, and ability of observation. We researched from four problems. 1 The class of the science course in faculty of Education is analyzed and improved. 2 It searches for the factor necessary for the student to be satisfied in student participation type class. 3 The class is improved by using the portfolio. 4 A system necessary to evaluate the class is constructed. As a result, it was clarified that students in Elementary Education Course are poor at science. But their consideration can be changed by informing them of the meaning of study, making it consent, and it satisfies their demands. Also, "Document of learning (portfolio)" was effective as the teaching material of the class. The improvement was added to the class evaluation system, from teacher's situation The problem in the future is an action on the student individual. We should pay attention to the student's skill as science teacher, and supplement their insufficient point.
