| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This project aims to study 4 topics (collective interests, diversification of litigation types, relation to civil litigation, relation to administrative appeal) in order to obtain propositions for reform of the administrative dispute settlement system.
During the past 3 years, we could get excellent and abundant results (see the list of products). Especially in the field of relation to administrative appeal, we have held a public symposium "Administrative Dispute Settlement System from the Perspective of Particular Administrative Laws" in July 2018 and published its results in "Jichi-Kenkyu" vol. 95 No. 2 and 3 (2019).

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
2004(平成16)年の行政事件訴訟法改正、2014(平成26)年の行政不服審査法改正により、行政争訟制度は大きく改善されたが、積み残された問題も多く、学界ではさらなる改革に向けた議論が進められている。もっとも、これまでの行政争訟制度改革においては、個別行政法に焦点を合わせた議論が必ずしも十分行われてこなかった。そこで、本研究においては、憲法・行政法のほか、行政情報法、消費者法、都市法、環境法、文化法、税法、労働法、社会保障法、知的財産法、財政法など、個別行政法分野での活躍がめざましい若手・中堅の研究者を結集し、領域横断的な観点から、行政争訟制度改革の方向性を明らかにしようとした。
