Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、複数衛星データを活用した水田からのメタン排出量評価手法開発のため、水田からのメタン排出量が世界で最も大きい地域の一つであるベトナムのメコンデルタにおいて、我が国の各種観測衛星ALOS-2、GCOM-Wなどの観測データ、現地データを活用したメタン排出評価手法の検討を行った。具体的には、ALOS-2やGCOM-W/AMSR2などの衛星データを活用して水田フェノロジー(水稲生育状況、湛水状況)を特定する手法を開発した。さらに、現地メタンフラックスデータと水田フェノロジーなど活用し、メタン排出モデルなどを開発した。ALOS-2やGCOM-W/AMSR2などのデータを活用して水田フェノロジー(水稲生育状況、湛水状況)を特定する手法を開発した。加えて、多種衛星センサデータを同化しつつ圃場湛水状況をシミュレーションする基盤となる高空間解像度のモデルを開発した。さらに、現地メタンフラックスデータと水田フェノロジーなど活用し、メタン排出モデル構築手法を検討した。さらに、京コンピュータ上にてグローバルスケールの大気モデルを利用し、GOSATデータを持ちいた解析システムの構築を行った。国際英分誌Remote sensingから成果の一部が出版された。フランスのCNES(フランス国立宇宙研究センター)/CESBiO(生物圏宇宙研究センター)やベトナムのVNSC(ベトナム国立宇宙センター)との打ち合わせや関連会議に参加して、合同研究実現に向けて手法の改良点や課題を抽出した。LCLUC-SARI2018、11th GEOSS-Asia Pacific symposium (TG3, TG5)、ALOS京都炭素計画第25回科学諮問会議にて研究成果を発表した。
