| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study primarily analyzes Schlager (popular songs) from the interwar period and Nazi era and aims to investigate homosexual culture from the perspective of pop culture research. The examination covers a range of fields, including homosexual culture research, Schlager analysis, and media analysis, and links the study to each. Singer Paul O’Montis and lyricist Bruno Balz, who formed a focal point in the overlap between these fields, are analyzed with particular emphasis.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
レコード産業勃興期のシュラーガー（流行歌）の分析を通して、文学研究と歴史研究をポップ・カルチャー研究およびアクチュアルなクィア研究と接続させる試みである。マイノリティのサブ・カルチャーと規定されがちな戦間期及びナチ時代の同性愛文化をメイン・カルチャーへ移行しつつある動態として捉え、戦間期の同性愛解放運動の広がりと、その過程で表出するホモフォビア（同性愛嫌悪）について複合的な領域から考察を行った。
