| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It has been pointed out that it is important to increase the scale of agricultural management and add high value in order to increase agricultural productivity and efficiency, but it has not been realized yet. In this study, we evaluated the efficiency of farmers and showed that there is a statistical relationship between inefficiencies and areas, shipping destinations, and environmental conservation efforts. Especially, the choice of shipping destination is considered to reflect the management technique of the farmer, and it was found that the farm management not dependent on the agricultural cooperative correlates with high efficiency. A statistical relationship was also found between crop selection and environmental conservation efforts.

日本の農業政策がもたらし続けてきた農業生産の非効率性に関する先行研究は、記述データによるものが数多く存在するが、定量的に評価した先行研究は近年は限られており、中でも農林業センサス個票データを用いた点に本研究の特色がある。
