| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Various researches have been done at universities and many patents have been created. However, it is hard to say that university-generated patents have always contributed to local industries. On the other hand, one of the missions of regional universities is to contribute to the development of local industries. Therefore, we investigated the patents that were actually created by the joint research between universities and companies and are actually used by local companies, and interviewed the companies that were using the patents about the factors that created the patents. , I set a hypothesis about the requirements of patents that can be utilized from there. In order to verify this hypothesis, we conducted a questionnaire to all companies that produced patents in collaboration with universities. Through this verification, the process of establishing a patent that can be used locally and its characteristics were clarified.

企業で有効活用される大学特許の成立過程及び特色を解明し、特に地方企業で活用できる大学特許を生み出す方法を検討し、地域創生のために特許の利活用方法のモデルの確立を目的にしたものである。すなわち、地方大学とその地域の企業とが活発に共同研究を行い、当該企業で活用できる特許を生み出すことにより、地方企業を育成して地域での雇用を拡大して地方の産業の発展に貢献し、さらには地域の過疎化防止つなげることができる。
