| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we conducted an interview survey of divorced single mothers. As a result, it was revealed that divorce itself and the conditions of divorce, in particular, child support and visitation were not sufficiently discussed in the process until divorce.
The final conclusion is that in the divorce of a couple with a minor child, the following is necessary to guarantee the child's rights. That is to ensure parent education before divorce, to make the mediation system available for consultation of child rearing after divorce, and to institutionalize the child support enforcement system.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究では、離婚シングルマザーに対するインタビュー調査を行い、離婚当事者の意識や実態について検討した。本研究により、これまで明らかにされてこなかった、離婚当事者の実態の解明が進んだことは、学術的に意義がある。また、離婚紛争における当事者支援の必要性が論じられているなか、実証的な研究成果に基づき、未成年の子のいる夫婦の離婚について、子の権利保障の観点から、当事者への社会的支援に関する具体的な提言を行ったことは、社会的に意義がある。
