Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study has the aims of research for mental health stuff’s empowerment factors and attitude for person with mental disability. According to interview for mental health staff in community area, empowerment measure of empowerment has been made. So,27 mental health staff were interviewed. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The first analysis of data suggest 13 factors that staff’s empowerment factors were trust, safety, cooperation, information discloser, decision making of own-work, opportunity for study, expectation of recovery, flexibility, quality and volume of work, open mind, self-discloser, readership, share information. The second analysis data suggest, positive experiences of care ; recovery of person, employment of person, and open the mind, negative experiences ; unclear outcome, severe symptom, acting out. This research suggest that mental health staff’ s empowerment is affected by work environment. And recovery of person with mental disability encouraged.

本研究は、精神保健専門職の対象者への肯定的態度とエンパワメントに関する実証的な調査研究であり、実践現場における専門職の現状を明らかにし、精神保健専門職の育成と質改善のための方策決定に資するものと考える. また、精神科医療、地域福祉領域を調査対象とすることにより、それらに連携についての示唆が得られるものと考える.
