| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Caring is the main theory in nursing, but caring for the community is not clear in the world. This research clarified the concept of caring for the community. There were three constituent hypotheses of caring for the community: the mind and value of caring by public health nurses, the act of caring for the community, and the caring relationship between residents and professionals in the community (caring community). Furthermore, as a result of the concept analysis about the caring community, its definition was clarified. And, the caring mindset of public health nurse was clarified by a qualitative analysis based on an interview survey of public health nurses.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
ケアリングは対個人への看護に関して用いられることが多い概念であるが、コミュニティに対するケアリングについて既存の書物等で言及されているが具体的に述べた論文等はなかった。本研究では、コミュニティに対するケアリングのモデル（仮説）を構築したこと、コミュニティにおけるケアリングを明確にしたこと、保健師のケアリングの姿勢を明らかにしたことは、学術的価値があると考える。
