In this study, through the analysis of the selection and promotion of bureaucrats in modern Japan, we clarified the factors of governmental sectionalism in the Showa era.
And we discuss frameworks that analyze the relationship between group formation and bureaucratic sectionalism.

本研究による、後発効果を念頭においた「官僚の選抜・配分」と「セクショナリズム」とを結びつけたチャレンジングな分析は、西洋産理論に欠けている、より普遍性の高い知見を獲得するための格好の実験場となり、優れた比較材料を提供するものとなった。問いの設定と分析作業が世界中の研究者によって模倣可能であることを考えると、本研究は世界から多くの批判・反響を得る可能性を秘めている。
「政治の問題系と結びついた教育社会史的研究」をリニューアルする研究が今後生まれてくることにより、本研究が提示した「見解」「仮説」を洗練していくサイクルがより有効に作られていくことになるであろう。
