Outline of Final Research Achievements

Twelve weeks of training were given to healthy subjects. About half of them were able to acquire programming skills, while the rest could not. Comparing brain information obtained in advance revealed that those who could acquire programming ability had brain structural and functional characteristics compared to those who could not. Also, comparing the brains of people who have acquired skills before and after learning, it became clear that some parts of the brain showed plastic changes with the acquisition of abilities.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
