Outline of Final Research Achievements

We first examined whether there is a change in vascular elasticity by analyzing heart rate synchronized 3DCTA images. But, there are some problems, so We had no choice but to change the purpose. We investigated whether CT perfusion may be an alternative method to SPECT.We compared CT perfusion and SPECT. The cerebral blood flow(CBF) ratio compared to the normal value is 0.85(CT perfusion) and 0.87(SPECT), respectively. So CT perfusion may be an alternative method to SPECT. Cerebral blood volume(CBV) caluculated by CT perfusion is 4.9 and the ratio compared to the normal value is 1.2. Time to drain(TTD) is 9.4 and the ratio is 2.4, and Mean transit time(MTT) is 5.7 and the ratio is 1.7. Cerebrovascular reserve capacity(CVR) caluculated by SPECT is -3.6.
Further examination will be detected the relation between CVR and CT perfusion parameters including CBV, TTD, and MTT.
