| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research project targets the minority languages spoken in the Northeastern Eurasian area, and aims to explore the language change process through language contact using descriptive and contrastive approach. This project particularly focuses on Sakha and Tyvan (Turkic family) as well as Even and Evenki (Tungusic family), and tries to illustrate areal-linguistic properties including regularity of morphophonological process, obligatoriness of grammatical elements, morphological characteristics, use of the so-called evidential suffix, and degree of agglutinativeness.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
新潟大学で開催した二度の国際学術大会では，日韓中露の研究者による最新の知見を交換することができた．2018年の韓国言語学会夏季大会（忠南大学）と2019年の第14回国際アルタイ学会（全北大学）での口頭発表と質疑応答により，韓国のチュルク諸語・ツングース諸語の研究者からのレビューを受けることができた． 金周源「韓国のアルタイ諸語研究の現状と展望」を翻訳・出版することにより，韓国のアルタイ諸語研究の蓄積と進展を日本の研究者らに紹介することができた．今後も引き続き，北東ユーラシア地域の消滅危機に瀕した少数民族言語の解明という課題に日韓の研究者が連携して取り組むことが見込まれる．
