Research Abstract |
In this research, the fostering of skilled worker and reducing the number of accidents were defined as the objectives, then the development of a monitoring system for accident prevention and an instruction manual for fostering skills was conducted. The followings are the results. 1) Development of process model for past accidents Past accident samples were reflected and models of accident process were created. The factors of accident were extracted from the each model of falling and collision. The effectiveness of the extracted factors for design of accident prevention measure was verified. 2) Recording of work motion data with the motion capture system The motion data of a skilled worker was collected with the motion capture system and a method to create a computer animation from the motion data was built. Moreover, an automated estimation system of workload from the motion data was proposed and the experimental results were verified. 3) Monitoring of work situation with the stereo camera The stereo camera method which captures the movement data of heavy equipment and worker on the construction site was selected as a monitoring system. The actual site experiment was conducted and the collected 3 dimensional position data was used for estimation of dangerous situation. 4) Development of the functions to design the technical manual The method of System Approach was applied to development of instructional design and an analysis method of work process. 5) Design of a technical manual with the digital contents A technical manual for steel partition work which based on the instructional analysis was proposed. The manual was made from multimedia such as sounds, images, 3-D models, texts and other information. The practical utility and the observation were evaluated.
