Research Abstract |
For the teachers training for the areas of technology/home economics education who have not received enough training to teach patents to student, we have developed Patent Education Assistance System (PEAS), which supports patent learning adopted in object-making education. The PEAS consists of a program for patent learning assistance, a program for invention specification writing assistance, a program for IPDL learning assistance, a program for patent specification understanding assistance, a patent diagnosis program, a program for patent application learning assistance, a program for specification writing assistance and a program of technical terms dictionary. The developed PEAS was practiced for evaluation at the Ikeda middle school attached to Osaka Education University. It was taught as an optional course for the technology area of technology/home economics. Each program was received evaluation rating higher than "easy to learn", indicating its effectiveness in assisting students to learn. By the way, to propose creation support method for junior high school student, so the junior high school student created it was clarified. There are concretely two points, i ) It is not possible to think about the effect that the additional value gives. ii) The process of the creation is complex for the student with a little creation experience. Then, the creation support program that contained three supports was made by using Visual BASIC in the research. (1) Introduce and make the effect word. (2) Make the visible process of the creation. (3) It explains what they should do to each stage of the creation. This research suggests that the support software for patent education of creative power has been available.
