This study focused on Asian study of Pre-War Japan, mainly on agricultural research of Manchuria. Main industry in Manchoukuo era was agriculture. Agricultural research institution of Japan and Manchoukuo eagerly analyzed agricultural structure, Japanese immigration, and considered couterplan of agricultural production increase. These three years of study, I visited libraries, archives in Japan and China, and collected materials of agricultural research, for instance, publication of Nichi-man Nosei Kenkyukai (Study Group of Agricultural Policy in Japan and Manchoukuo), Hokuman Keizai Chosajyo (Institute of Economy of North Manchuria, SMR. Co.). Kounou Gassakusha Chuoukai (Central Association of Agricultural Co-operation of Manchoukuo), etc. And I invited researcher and librarians of China, and held international workshop on the collections of agricultural research materials in Chinese libraries. I compiled "Manshu Nogyo kankei Bunken Mokuroku" ("Union List of Japanese Books on Manchurian Agriculture"). This List includes materials on Manchurian agriculture owned by main libraries in Japan, and Liaoning Provincial Archives and Mantetsu Library of Changchung in China. I edited "Mantetsu Chosabu to Chugoku Nogyo Chosa; Amano Motonosuke Chugoku Kenkyu Kaiso" ("Research Dept. of SMR Co. and Agricultural Research in China; Memories of Amano Motonosuke"). This book will be published next July. I also wrote an article 'Ajia Taiheiyo Senso-ka no Mantetsu Chosa Soshiki' ('Research Activities of SMR. Co. in Asian Pacific War Era'). This article will publish this autumn.
