Research Abstract |
Head Investigator researched in cooperation with Investigator at National Archives Maryland U.S.A. 1) Photocopying of Magic (decrypted Japanese diplomatic messages) SRDJ series (Head Investigator and Investigator). From 1940 to 1941 Nov. are completed 2) Making a data base of SRDJ. (Head Investigator and Investigator) The part of 1941 are all but over. 3) The Documents of the State department (Head Investigator and Investigator) Correspondence between the State Dept. and the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo: Almost all obtainable telegrams(in 1941) are collected. The list is completed. The correspondence between the State Dept. and the following U.S. embassies and legations (in 1941) : Completed the lists on PC from the source cards of NARA. Chungking (Jan.-Dec.) Manila (Jan.-July), Nanking (Jan.-Dec.) Shanghai (Jan.-July) Peiping (Jan.-Dec.) Saigon ((Jan.-July) FRUS 1941 Vol. 4 Far East: Completed the lists on PC. 4) Arrogation of Intelligence Officer(Head Investigator) Collecting many reports of arrogation which was enforced at the occupied era. 5) Printing off research-related documents (mainly those of the US State Department) from microfilm.(Investigator) 6) Domestic research: (Head Investigator and Investigator) The research at following institution put into practice.
