Research Abstract |
This report 1)describes how Japanese nursing homes work on the risk management and how the case laws for nursing accident are going on, 2)demonstrates the conditions of nursing homes' approaching and practical assignments in Osaka, 3)analyzes the report on the accident at a nursing home in Osaka. Since nursing care insurance law was enforced in 2000, they have worked on the risk management at nursing homes in Japan. Although most nursing homes are working on the risk management now, they don't seem to work efficiently. In this research, we addressed some questionnaires to nursing homes in Osaka, and considered the concrete practical assignments the risk managers are faced with. We also analyzed the accident patterns in the report from a nursing home, and considered their human errors such as fall or spill accidents.
