超高速レーザカオスを用いた情報理論的セキュリティに基づく暗号鍵発生

Research Abstract

本研究では、情報理論的セキュリティに基づく暗号鍵発生方式を提案し、超高速レーザカオスを用いてこれを工学的に実装することを目的とする。特に相関乱数暗号の要素技術として、共通カオス信号により駆動された半導体レーザカオス同期および相関の制御を実験的に実現した。本実験では、3つのDFB半導体レーザ(それぞれDrive、Response1、Response2と呼ぶ)を用いた。外部鏡を用いてDriveに戻り光を付加することでカオスを発生させた。Driveの緩和発振周波数とRepsonse1, Response2の緩和発振周波数を異なる値に設定した。Driveからのカオス的レーザ光を、ビームスプリッタ(BS)を調整することでRespoense1とResponse2に注入させた。このときDrive-Response間では低い相関、Response1-Response2間では高い相関を確認した。
次にResponsel、Response2にそれぞれ外部鏡を用いて戻り光を付加させた。Response1の外部鏡の距離をピエゾステージによりナノメータ(nm)単位で変化させ、Response1の戻り光の位相を変化させることにより、2つのResponseレーザカオス同期波形の相関の制御を行った。その結果、戻り光の位相が一致したときの2つのResponse間の時間波形は一致しており、相関値を計算したところ0.907と高いことが分かった。一方で、戻り光の位相が一致していないときの2つのResponse間の時間波形は一致しておらず、相関値も0.076と低いことが分かった。以上より、戻り光の位相を変化させることで、Response1-Response2間の相関を制御可能であることが実験的に確認された。本特性は相関乱数暗号方式への応用における要素技術として非常に重要である。
