Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have studied extreme nonlinear optical effects from THz to infrared frequency region in single-layered semiconductors, graphene, and carbon nanotubes that have low-dimensional electronic structures. These materials are future candidates for nonlinear photoelectronics. In this study, we focused on the high-order harmonics generation and elucidated the physical mechanism that is applicable to various materials.
