Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, We examined the effect of IL-35 on IL-6 and IL-8 production from IL-17A-stimulated human periodontal ligament cells. In the results, IL-35 inhibited IL-6 and IL-8 production from IL-17A-stimulated human periodontal ligament cells through suppression of ERK and NF-κB p65 phosphorylation. These results suggested that IL-35 might inhibit progression of periapical periodontitis by IL-17A.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
