Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は3つの方向性に関して進展があった。
1. 昨年度では、磁気モノポールが高次元表現におけるウィルソン・ループの振る舞いを再現できないという問題に対しての解決策として、非可換ストークスの定理から示唆される演算子を用いた。本年度は、まずこの演算子が正しい振る舞いをする別の解釈を考え、それに基づいて、素朴なアーベリアンウィルソン・ループがその正しいふるまいの再現に失敗する、ゲージ群がSU(2)の場合の二重巻きウィルソン・ループについて、正しいふるまいを再現し、磁気モノポールの寄与を取り出すことが出くる演算子を提案した。いくつかの仮定のもとでこの演算子の期待値を評価した結果、正しいふるまいである面積差則を再現することを確認した。
2. 場の分解の方法を介することによって、ゲージ場のゲージ不変な質量項を定義することができる。この質量項は、ノルムが固定された随伴表現に属するスカラー場の運動項を作用に加え、適切な拘束条件を課すことでスカラー場の自由度を削減することによって実現できる。質量項をゲージ不変に定義したため、格子シミュレーションによって質量項の非摂動効果を評価することができる。本年度は、この質量項を持つ模型に対して、まず再重法を用いてウィルソン・ループ期待値を計算した。
3. 質量項を持つヤン=ミルズ理論のプロパゲータについての昨年度の研究から、1ループの量子補正を含めた解析的な表式が得られた。本年度はこのプロパゲータの複素構造について、グルーオン閉じ込めの必要条件と考えられる鏡映正値性の破れと関連性を含め、調べた。この模型のグルーオン・プロパゲータは運動量の自乗の複素平面において、互いに複素共役な2つの極を持つ。また、極を保つ場合に拡張されたスペクトル表示において、スペクトル関数が負の値になることがわかった。これらの結果から鏡映正値性の破れを理解することができる。
