Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As a clue to support browsing-type exploration tasks, we focused on the utilization of Linked Open Data (LOD) datasets. For field-specific LOD datasets, we designed, built and published datasets for textbook LODs, intangible folk cultural properties, etc. And then we evaluated utilization methods for each dataset. In addition, as basic methodologies for cross-disciplinary fields, we developed a serendipity recommendation method using DBpedia, and a method for identifying references to scholarly literature in Wikipedia content. Performances of these methods were verified by precisions based on a correct sample dataset and metrics based on user experiments.
