| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In my Lectures on Contemporary Ontology (Shinyosha, 2017), we clarified the methodological debate between Quinian "standard" metaontology and non-standard ones (fictionalism, Meinongianism, neo-Carnapianism) which are opposed to it. We then proposed a new framework inspired by a pragmatic aspect of quinian framework, as opposed to today's most non-standard metatheories. Our new framework was also applied to the field of social ontology in my book of 2019.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
研究成果の学術的意義は、近年メタレベルの研究にシフトしつつある存在論研究の最新の動向を分析した上で、実際の存在論構築に指針を与えうるような実践的枠組みを提案することができたことである。研究代表者は、この新たなメタ存在論的枠組みが、より適切な「社会存在論」の構築に寄与することを確認した。
研究成果の社会的意義としては、『現代存在論講義I・II』（新曜社、2017年）という概説書、『日常生活を哲学する：存在論からのアプローチ』（光文社新書、2019年）という一般書の出版を通して、研究主題の重要性を広く社会に知ってもらうことができた点を挙げておく。
