Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The Romanian government, budgeted for the Common Agricultural Policy, supports large-scale farms to promote their rationalization and commercialization. At that time, by excluding semi-subsistence farms who lack a successor from the support target, they are planning to gradually eliminate them and eventually integrate the farmland. Such modernization is a process of establishing EU standards centered on environmental conservation, animal welfare, and food safety. But at the local level, villagers, including subsidized farmers, have strong sense of refusal to intervene in. Their traditional farming also has its own standards, creating a conflict of values.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
