| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are two research questions in this research project. The first one is “what is the current state of the Japanese distribution system in an era of declining birthrate and aging population,” and the second one is “what is an effective and efficient distribution system for the era.”
This research project has been implemented with Professor Katsuyoshi Takashima (Kobe University). We were able to conduct some theoretical and empirical research thanks to this research fund.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
この3年間の研究活動の具体的成果としては、国際学会に参加し研究報告を行ったこと、複数の論文が海外の査読付き専門誌（Journal of Business Research他）に掲載されたこと、また、国内では研究分担者の神戸大学高嶋克義教授との共著書『小売経営論』（有斐閣）が2020年6月に出版されるに至ったことは、学術的にも社会的にも意義深い。
