Outline of Final Research Achievements

(1) We proposed a user-generated content recommendation method where a user’s role of a consumer and that of a producer were adaptively bridged. Our proposed method outperformed the state-of-the-art user-generated content recommendation method. (2) On our Web service called "Songrium Derivation Factor Analysis," we revealed that implemented functions enabled users to understand the N-th order derivative creation activity at a deeper level and find original content and derivative content from a new viewpoint. (3) We analyzed the collaborations between creators in N-th order derivative creation and showed that collaborative videos tend to become more popular than non-collaborative ones and creators who have collaboration experience are active for a longer time than inexperienced creators, etc.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

ユーザ生成コンテンツ推薦のために、ユーザの消費者としての役割と創作者としての役割を考慮したモデルを提案し、ユーザの消費者としての役割だけを考慮した従来の推薦モデルよりも推薦精度が高くなることを示した点で学術的意義が高い。また、公開済みのWebサービス「Songrium派生要因分析」を活用することで、派生コンテンツの創作を引き起こした要因に基づいて消費者や創作者がコンテンツを探索できることを示した点で社会的意義がある。さらに、N次創作活動における創作者間のコラボレーションに着目し、コラボレーションがコンテンツの人気度やクリエータの活動におよぼす影響を初めて明らかにした点で学術的意義が高い。
