| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Using an electromyograph, we performed "visualization" of piano playing methods for beginners and experts. Using the five basic movements of Shandor(freefall,scale, rotation, staccato,thrust) as its material, we could measure 30 beginners and 30 experts, and obtained certain results. Results different from pre-study predictions were also seen, and we succeeded in visualizing how to use muscles in each rendition style, and we were able to obtain results that lead to the next study.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
ピアノの打鍵奏法を習得するためのプロセスとして、解説や視覚による模倣だけでなく、科学的な観点からもそのスキルを検証してみる必要がある。今日では、筋電計を始め、計測機器が目覚ましい進化を遂げており、演奏中の身体の使い方を科学的根拠に基づいて考察してみることが可能となっている。本研究の成果としては、そのような観点から、初心者と熟練者の奏法の違いについて比較検討することで、その違いを可視化することができた。
長い目で見て、初心者への有効な指導方法及び指導者自身の技量のレベルアップ、そして行く行くは、初心者の練習における効率的な上達メソッドに繋がる研究と考えている。
