Research Abstract

脳卒中の多くに伴う上肢麻痺に対し、健側を拘束して麻痺側を訓練するCI療法とリハビリロボットを併用した新たなリハビリ療法「ハイブリッドCI療法」の開発を目指した。脳の可塑性を効果的に誘導できる訓練課題を抽出し、その動作を再現できる簡易でコンパクトなロボットおよび訓練ソフトを開発し、慢性期のボランティア患者を対象に本療法の効果を評価した結果、Brunnstrom stage, Fugl-MeyerAssessmentなどの上肢機能評価指標に有意な向上効果が、またMotor Activity Logを用いた実生活での使用頻度にも若干ではあるが改善が認められた。
