Research Abstract

本研究では、初期ネーデルラント絵画の領域で、完成後一定期間をおいて加筆された肖像のある絵画作品を収集し、それを様々な美術史的観点から考察した。この領域は、中世以来初めての本格的な再現的自然主義を発達させたことで知られる。画面をもう一つの世界の一部として実現し、現実にはない理想や願望を投影するための仮想的な場が求められたものと思われる。加筆肖像は、そのような画面と観者との相互交流の痕跡として理解できる。
