| Research Abstract |
This research project studies on various alternatives for corporate restructuring, including bankruptcy and mergers & associations. It investigates, both theoretically and empirically, costs and benefits of those alternatives and appropriate regulations on them. This research has resulted in numerous published articles, especially in the field of the DIP (debtor-in-possession) bankruptcy procedure, hostile takeover and defense measures, and going-private transactions.
