Research Abstract

側面励起型Nd : Gd_xY_(1-x)VO_4増幅器を用いた超短パルス位相共役レーザーを開発した。側面励起型Nd : Gd_xY_(1-x)VO_4増幅器と位相共役鏡を組み合わせた位相共役レーザーシステムにおいて平均出力16W、パルス幅<4.5psを達成した。パルス幅性能から換算したピークパワーの面でNd : GdVO_4を完全に凌駕する。得られた最大ピークパワーは200kW(励起パワー70W時)に達した。また、出力光のパルス幅は位相共役レーザーにおいて最短パルス幅である。
