Research Abstract

研究成果の概要:SrCoO_3系ペロブスカイト型酸化物の酸素イオン副格子の秩序-無秩序構造相転移に伴って熱拡散率が完全に可逆的に増減することを見出した。さらに、熱拡散率の増減は主として音速の増減によるもので、予想に反してフォノンの平均自由行程はほぼ一定であることを明らかにした。酸素イオン副格子の構造相転移に伴って、金属-酸素結合の再配列や結合角のばらつきが生じ、結晶格子の非調和性が増大した結果、フォノンの群速度が低下している可能性が示唆された。
