Research Abstract

視覚的注意とセグメンテーション, 及びセグメントの知覚体制化は, 人間の物体認識に不可欠な知覚過程であり, コンピュータビジョンシステムの実現においても, 特に多くの物体で込み入った実世界画像にどのような物体が含まれるかを不変・多態的に認識する一般物体認識において, 重要な基盤処理技術となる. 本研究では, 顕著性マップ上での並列前注意を, 動的に形成されるマルコフ確率場での図地セグメンテーションを介して物体に基づく逐次選択的注意に統合させることを通じて,各概念カテゴリの物体に関する体制化された知覚を生成する一般物体認識のための新しい計算モデルを構築した. そして, 本モデルをコンピュータビジョンシステムに実装し, いくつかの実験を通じてその有用性を確認した.
