| Research Abstract |
日本の仏教美術に関する研究は、従来、絵画や彫刻といったジャンル別の研究が主流であった。本研究は、それに対して、異なるジャンル間の相互の影響関係、ジャンルによる表現の異同の様相などを明らかにしながら、ジャンルの枠を超えた総合的な研究を目指すものである。こうした研究は、短期間のうちに容易に達成されるものではなく、本研究ではまさにその端緒に着いたばかりであるが、今後も引き続きジャンルごとの研究成果の共有化をはかり、より総合的な研究を目指していきたい。
