Research Abstract |
I have tried to establish the foundation of study on the Okinawa phone rhyme history and to maintain that field of study. I was able to achieve around 80% of original goals above. I was able to achieve the above goals regarding Hangul Alphabet documents / the kanji documents, but not for some kana documents and the alphabet documents: It may require some more time to complete in the future. I am planning to continue the work and going to make an updated report on its progress. As for the Hangul Alphabet document, I was able to submit the final report on the study of photolithoprint, re-impression, the text, and a vocabulary index and its analysis. As for the kanji document, I could provide many nearly completed documents. As for the kana document, I was able to show the main frame of this study. But, there are some documents which I could not provide enough vocabulary index and its analysis. If I can complete those vocabulary indexes, it will contribute to the advancement of this study very much. About the alphabet document, the base of the study was got ready based on "Clifford Ryukyu vocabulary". Because vocabulary indexes for the other documents are also going to be made in the future, this study will make more significant impact on the study of the Okinawa phone rhyme history. Based on the report (1) and (2), I will sort out all documents and will make a final report on the history (a sound and a phoneme) of the language of Okinawa". I will continue the further development of the study.
