Research Abstract |
We aimed to apply through the use of the corpus of the event advanced "Unification of written and spoken forms of a language" at the latter term of the Meiji era until the Taisho era period. In use and the description of the corpus among the language phenomena related to the unification of written and spoken forms of a language, we took up the changes in the the vocabulary system, the treatment expression structure, and the tens expression. Our analysis wad done by 'Taiyo Corpus'(corpus intended for the general magazine that had been most often reat at the latter term of the Meiji era until the Taisho era period). An fixated word at the unification of written and spoken forms of a language period and the declining word were analyzed about the vocabulary system as an example of the verb. Moreover, the treatment expression structure was analyzed from the viewpoint of style, talker of the conversation, and listener's hierarchy and sexes as an example of two personal pronouns. In addition, the usage where usage and auxiliary verb of written language "Tari" established of auxiliary verb of colloquialism "Teiru" and "Tearu" remained was clarified in the complementary relation about the Tens expression. In each research, the co-occurrence word, the appearance context, and the appearance area, etc. were able to be considered quantitatively by using the corpus, and new development was able to be attempted also in the direction of a synchronic analysis and the direction of a dynamic analysis. Moreover, the tag burial program 'Tampopo Tagar' to the XML document was developed as a corpus analysis tool. The effect of improving the convenience of the Japanese history research by the corpus linguistics can be expected of releasing thes tool.
